To fit the new brakes and because I like the look... I bought used wheels for the C4.  I got a set of replica 07 C6 non Z06 rims with a nice set of Pirelli Sottozero tires on them for a good price on ebay and picked up locally.  The wheels have some curb rash on them, so savageracer6969 and I are going to fix and paint them.  The color is either going to be close to stock comp grey or gloss black.  The paint code for the comp grey is WA9243.  I have read that Dupli-Color has a very close match BGM0543 (formally T183).  But I haven't settled on the paint color or process yet (gun or rattle can).  For now, I'm going to get the rims ready for paint and deal with painting them in a few months after the weather warms up.

The lip on the adapters fit the through hole on the rims nicely.

Started grinding down the raised curb rash with a file and sandpaper.

Then cleaned the rims with simply green.

Thanks for the feedback, but I'm new at this...  so i need a little more detail on feathering it out more.  Whats a good vs bad feather?  Is any of it good?  Just asking so I know what the end game is supposed to look like.
